Nick Saban chooses two QB's to start the season

Nick Saban gave a little more insight into Alabama's quarterback competition on his radio show Thursday night. But it was cryptic.
Asked if he'd made a decision about the battle, Saban added some insight.
"Look, we have two guys that have really done a nice job in the last couple weeks that we have confidence in, that I believe in that can win the game and do a really good job with the quarterback position," Saban said.
He didn't identify either quarterback.
"Neither one of them have really ever done it in the game so to me, the final sorta proof in the pudding is who can go do it best in the game," Saban said. "So how do you know who can do that. You can only speculate, as a coach, how they did in practice."
Jake Coker is the only returning play who has thrown a pass in a college game. Both Alec Morris and Cooper Bateman were long shots who both emerged as contenders during preseason camp.
What's the plan from here?
"When you have two guys that are doing pretty well that you're really pleased with, why do you have to choose? Maybe it's best to give both guys an opportunity at some point in time in the game and they both have the opportunity to prove what they can do in the game, which is ultimately the most important thing to our team."

We are pretty sure those two guys are Cooper Bateman and Jalen Hurts, as those are the two seen prepping for the USC game with the first teamers in practice. It looks like Nick is going to repeat last years process and play two QB's until one separates himself on the big stage.
